Experience Kodiak’s Ultimate DIY Fishing Adventure!

Our Self Guided trips are a favorite among visiting anglers. Your adventure begins at the American River parking lot, just 20 minutes from Kodiak. There, you’ll meet our guides for a detailed safety briefing before heading out.

We’ll load you and your gear into our UTVs for a scenic and exciting 1.5-hour ride through Kodiak’s stunning mountains. Cross streams and rivers with ease while enjoying breathtaking views, vibrant summer wildflowers, and abundant wildlife.

Upon arrival at Saltery Cove, nestled in Uyak Bay, you’ll be placed in prime fishing waters teeming with Salmon, Char, and Trout. Each angler receives a radio, tracking device, and non-lethal bear spray for safety. Your driver stays nearby, keeping non-essential gear secure and delivering items as needed.

If conditions change or you’re ready for a new spot, our guides are available to relocate you. At day’s end, you’ll meet up with your driver and enjoy the return ride, closing out an unforgettable fishing adventure.
